I am a UK-based landscape architect and researcher working across landscape design, landscape and visual assessment, masterplanning and research-led urbanism. My work explores how landscape architecture can respond to climate resilience, biodiversity, water, wellbeing and everyday patterns of use through evidence-led and site-specific design.
Gap to Green, my ongoing research and design framework for transforming overlooked urban spaces into multifunctional green infrastructure, is a finalist in the Landscape Institute Awards 2026 — Landscape Research and Digital Innovation Award.
Research-led landscape practice
My approach to landscape architecture is grounded in understanding place — its landscape character, ecology, movement, heritage and the ways people experience it. I am particularly interested in how evidence gathered through site appraisal and research can inform clear, practical landscape strategies.
Alongside professional practice, I continue to publish, present and develop independent research. In 2025, I presented Pocket Parks as Urban Ecosystems at the IFLA World Congress in Nantes, exploring the role of small urban landscapes in biodiversity and community wellbeing.
