Artist Statement
My illustrations blend modern fashion styles with traditional Persian floral patterns, inspired by the iconic گُل و مرغ (flowers and birds) motif dating back to the late Zand and early Qajar periods (12th–13th century AH / 18th–19th century CE). This pattern symbolizes love and creation, embodying a rich cultural heritage.
I believe that the dynamic character of these Persian motifs, with their intricate flowers and birds, harmoniously combined with contemporary fashion design, creates a unique and captivating balance within the fashion industry. The warm color palettes typical of these patterns enhance the vibrancy and texture of each outfit, bringing a lively and organic feel.
Having grown up surrounded by these beautiful Persian patterns, I have always been passionate about colors and natural, organic shapes. My deep admiration for Iran’s artistic history continually inspires my work and fuels my creative vision.
